Merrill Man Arrested After Nail Gun Incident at Resort
A disturbance at a Lincoln County resort has led to multiple criminal charges against a Merrill man after investigators say a nail gun was used to threaten people and damage vehicles.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to Rock Island Resort in the Town of Merrill on June 30th following reports of a disturbance. Investigators say Daniel Zulliger became disruptive during a boating outing, allegedly pushing one person into the water before returning to shore. Once back at the dock, he reportedly fired nails at nearby bystanders and parked vehicles.
Deputies say Zulliger resisted arrest after refusing commands to get out of his truck. He’s being held on tentative charges that include reckless endangerment with a dangerous weapon, battery, resisting an officer, and disorderly conduct.
